Built to WCAG and ADA 508 standards from the first day, not retrofitted after somebody complains. Readable contrast, real keyboard navigation, proper headings, alt text, and documents that a screen reader can actually get through.
This matters more than it used to. It's also the part most vendors quietly skip, because it costs time and nobody notices it until it becomes a problem.
One place where every meeting lives — the board, the planning commission, the cemetery committee, whoever meets — with dates, times, location and the documents attached to each. Plus a calendar of events for everything else the township puts on.
A real repository, sorted into categories that match how your township is actually organised: separate streams for the board, each commission, each department, or however you split it. Residents can find the minutes from March without emailing you, and you have a public record of what went up and when.

If you'd like to make small changes yourself, we'll teach whoever's going to do it in an afternoon. If you'd rather never touch it, that's the default and it's fine.
Residents subscribe once and hear from you directly: meeting changes, road closures, boil-water notices, and the snow mornings when the phone doesn't stop. Being built now, and it comes to townships already with us when it ships.
A simple way for a resident to report the non-urgent things — a washed-out shoulder, a downed sign, a blocked culvert — with a photo and a location, straight into one list you can work through. It replaces the call where somebody describes a pothole by which neighbour it's nearest to. Being built now.

Published, because you shouldn't have to sit through a sales conversation to find out whether you can afford this.
Where you land in that range depends on two things: how big your township is, and how much content you're bringing with you. A township of 600 with a handful of pages sits at the bottom of it. One of 2,800 with fifteen years of minutes to bring across sits nearer the top.
There are no tiers and nothing is held back from a cheaper plan. Everything on this page is included either way.
One payment, covering the build, moving whatever information you already have across, and training anyone who wants it. For our first townships we're not charging it at all.
No minimum contract length. Your site, your content and your domain belong to your township, and you can take them elsewhere whenever you like.
